Working with Schmokin’ has allowed me to create a suite of modular design elements for this family-run motorbike pitstop-themed cafe. Since opening in 2020, I have worked closely with the team at Schmokin’ to first create a strong brand identity, and then as the shop expanded, a range of merchandise options, signage, menus, and ephemera.
Schmokin’ has grown triple in size since opening, taking over the two shopfronts next door. The cafe’s motto, “confidence in comfort”, rings true to this day as all aspects of branding and marketing catering to the target audience through a continuous understanding of the customer's perspective.
Most weekends large groups of customers are motorbike enthusiasts on a weekend trip through the Southern Highlands of NSW and are usually looking for a pit stop along the way to relax and recharge. Understanding this market, we were able to put together a brand identity that is instantly recognisable when you step into the shop, leaving no room to mess around trying to figure out what’s going on.
